More About The Artist:
Paul B Mann was an illustrator and poster designer, who specialized in industrial, engineering and railway imagery. He illustrated several Picture Puffin books, including The Story of Iron, Locomotives and Marvellous Models, and produced a number of the Macmillans classroom posters. In 1944, he also wrote a book entitled "How to Draw Locomotives," and in 1949, another book, "How to draw Rolling Stock." We are only aware of one other British Railways advertising poster, for Harwich.
