Description - A poster showing 21 ships all operated by publicly owned British Transport companies; British Railways etc. The fleet range from large ferries and cruise ships down to a tiny car ferry with space for possibly three cars. There is also a steam train shown at the pier-head in the background.
Year Published - 1950s
Size - Horizontal "4 Sheet" (approx 40 x 60in or 102 x 153cm), could be trimmed to Quad Royal size.

Condition Grade and Condition Report:
Grade: B+, un-conserved.
Folds, acid-free tape repairs and watercolour pencil touch-ups to a number of small edge tears and also to a couple of tears within the image. We have no idea why some examples of this poster and the British Railways Locomotives one were printed in "4 Sheet" size, just by having larger borders added to left and right sides. It could be carefully trimmed to a standard Quad Royal size without affecting it's value. More detailed photos are available on request if required.
