Description - Liverpool Cathedral, the second longest in the world after St Peters in the Vatican City, was built between 1904 and 1978 and designed by Giles Gilbert Scott. Part of the cavernous interior is depicted here with a procession in the centre. Taylor was well known for his poster work showing the architecture of many ancient buildings, and in this case ancient-looking.

Folds with a little wear, some creasing, edge and fold tears with repair tape on rear, a little age-discolouration to borders. More detailed photos are available on request if required.
More About The Artist:
Fred Taylor was born in London, studied art in Paris, London and Italy, and worked at the Waring and Gillow studio. He designed posters from 1908 until the 1940s, and worked with the navy on camouflage during WWII. His work is in several public collections. He produced posters for a series of railways companies, London Transport, the Empire Marketing Board and shipping companies.
