Aldbury Village - Merriott Summary

Title - Aldbury Village - Hertfordshire.
- Jack Merriott (1901-1968).

- A typical English village with pond, church and old house. But also in view is the more unusual sight of the stock and whipping post, which have been preserved in-situ. Apart from cars, the view now is not hugely different from the peaceful idyll depicted on this post-war poster.

Other Details:
Original Vintage British Railways Travel Poster.

Condition Grade and Condition Report:
Grade: B+, un-conserved.
No folds, lots of small edge tears/nicks, some with tape repairs on rear and a few with small losses of paper, some minor age discolouration of the white borders. Would frame up very well. More detailed photos are available on request if required.
