Description - This poster is advertising the availability of Holiday Runabout Tickets, for a week's unlimited travel in a selection of specified areas within Cornwall, each at 15/-. The numbered areas covered were Areas 1, 2, 11 and 21.
The railways lines covered include a lot of lines since closed, namely; Gwinear Road to Helston, Scorrier to Newquay via Perranporth, Fowey, Bodmin to Padstow, Plymouth/Bere Alston to Princetown/Tavistock/Lydford/Okehampton/Bude, Plymouth to Turnchapel.
The western region produced a series of these posters covering different areas of their region. Handbills were also produced which would have included route maps for each area showing which lines were applicable.
