Description - A fabulous slightly ethereal view of Ely, with the imposing Cathedral rising above the houses of the ancient city, and the River Great Ouse in the foreground. We are looking north-westwards across the meadows and river.

Condition Grade and Condition Report:
Grade: B+, we have had this poster conservation-backed on linen.
Repairs to top and bottom fold tears, watercolour-pencil restoration to some surface wear within the image where the poster was originally folded before the ink was fully dry. More detailed photos are available on request if required.

We have to admit to knowing nothing about Schabelsky, other than that he produced the artwork for a number of posters for the LNER around the 1920s/30s. If anyone knows any more we'll be happy to hear.
