Description - The newly formed London Midland and Scottish Railway produced this poster to highlight it's newly combined might as a partner to industry. The map is centred on their port at Grangemouth Docks on the River Forth. Links are shown in the west to Northern Ireland and the Isles via Oban, all of the main locations in the industrial central belt served by the LMS and to other parts of the country. In the east we see the shipping links from Grangemouth to all parts of northern Europe.
