Title - Intercity 125 - Mister Im going on Holiday on your train cos I know its The Quickest.
Description - A modern take on the famous 1930s Southern Railway poster of a young boy talking to a train driver. It was used to advertise the new High Speed Trains which were first introduced in 1976, with their usage greatly expanded in 1978. This example is unusual for railway use, as a "4 Sheet" sized poster, probably for use on larger billboards rather than the standard platform wall poster boards. In the bottom corner is also the tag "Have a good trip!" which was used on Intercity posters in the late 70s. A very imposing image.
