Description - A very detailed poster, showing all of British Railways' "New" locomotives in the late 1950s, from the Standard steam classes to the pioneer diesel and electrics. The style was very similar to model railway catalogues of the era. A poster which every young railway fan at the time would have wanted!
Year Published - late 1950s
Size - Horizontal "4 Sheet" (approx 40 x 60in or 102 x 153cm), could be trimmed to Quad Royal size.

Condition Grade and Condition Report:
Grade: B+, un-conserved.
Folds, acid-free tape repairs to small edge tears and a small paper losses on folds. We have no idea why some examples of this poster and the British Transport Ships one were printed in "4 Sheet" size, just by having larger borders added to left and right sides. It could be carefully trimmed to a standard Quad Royal size without affecting it's value. More detailed photos are available on request if required.
