Title - You Can Travel Carefree By Sending Luggage In Advance.
Artist - Harry Arthur Riley (1895-1966).
Description - A relaxed man, with his pipe in his mouth and his hands in his pockets, is looking very "carefree" while he walks ahead of a gaggle of people laden-down with all their belongings. The poster is encouraging people to send all that luggage to their destinations in advance, so they can travel light. They too can be carefree, but also the busy passenger trains will then be less overloaded, which was a problem in the post-war years when everything was still run down from the war.
