Title - East Coast Landmarks - Orford Ness near Woodbridge, Suffolk - See Britain By Train.

Artist - Frank H Mason (1875-1965).
Description - A wonderful bright view of the famous east coast lighthouse, just down the coast from the small town of Aldeburgh, which still had a railway until 1968. This lighthouse had been on the long spit of land near the end of the River Alde since 1792. It was finally demolished in 2020 because coastal erosion was starting to erode the beach underneath it. There is a yacht passing in front of it, with a traditional red-sailed east coast barge in the foreground.
