Description
- An image of eight rather disparate people in a group looking through the bottom of a huge figure-8, emphasising the fact that as long as they are travelling together then 8 people could get half price tickets, as explained below the group by the fun toy train on it's figure-of-8 track.

More About The Artist:
Bruce Angrave was born in Leicester, son of a lithograph artist, and studied art at at the Chiswick, Ealing and Central Schools of Art in London, and Reimann School of Art under Austin Cooper. He joined the London Press Exchange at 19 before working for several advertising agencies, as an illustrator, designer and sculptor (including paper works for the Festival of Britain in 1951), and was a member of the Society of Industrial Artists (SIA). During the Second World War, he worked for the Ministry of Information, drawing cartoons and producing posters.
He produced a number of posters for the Railway companies and London Transport over many years.
