Description - Central Plymouth was badly bombed in WWII, and a major rebuilding project took place during the 1950s. This posters shows an artist's view of the spaciously rebuilt Armada Way area of the city, looking towards the Naval Memorial obelisk and Hoe Park, with a large ship in the distance. The buildings are still similar today, but the whole area has been pedestrianised and landscaped.
