Description - A rare LNER letterpress poster from 1930, advertising the full activities taking place in Scarborough during September, centred on the annual Jubilee Cricket Festival. The Festival had been running since 1876. All of the Lord Hawke v South Africa, Yorkshire v MCC and Leveson Gower v Australians matches ended in draws. This year saw the first appearance by Don Bradman at the Festival.
Other attractions away from the cricket included viewing battleships, angling, golf, exercises, music and other entertainments.
