Description - A great late 50s photo-poster showing two young women in swimsuits at the famous Tropicana Lido, with a group of children behind, and the wonderful Art-Deco 1937 concrete multi-diving-board soaring above them. When built as "The Pool" it had the highest diving board and the largest open air swimming pool in Europe. Sadly the diving board was demolished in 1982 when it became the Tropicana, and the pool closed in 2000. Demolition was planned for 2012, but since then the still-derelict site has been used by Banksy's Dismaland, and there are possible plans for the future.
