Description - The world-famous Windsor Castle, with the depiction here being the entrance to the Norman Gate, built by Edward III and later remodelled in the 19th century. Most of the larger trees in the view have been removed in the intervening years, leaving a much more open view.
This smaller, Double Crown paper size was used for some of the earlier London Transport posters.

F Gregory Brown was a well known landscape painter, illustrator, metal worker and textile designer. He designed many posters for London Underground, railway companies and the Empire Marketing Board.
