Description - Windsor Castle shown in a bold, colourful style. Edward Pond was commissioned by the newly formed Network SouthEast region in 1989 to produce posters for a large number of destinations in the region, as well as murals for inside the trains and other publicity material.

More About The Artist:
Edward Pond was born in Hackney in 1929 before moving to Romford as a child, attended art school in Dagenham, and then the Royal College of Art. He was a textile designer, oil painter and silkscreen artist with his own consultancy producing work for a number of large companies and organisations.
